About Us

She has a Master’s Degree from Harvard Divinity School, and a BA from Emory University in Comparative Literature. She lives in Jersey City with her husband and rescue pitbull named Doug.

Lorena Estrella 是第一代多米尼加泽西女孩. She is deeply committed to equity and liberation work, and to centering and elevating the voices of young people of color in educational and movement spaces. Over the last 10 years, Sadie Nash Leadership Project has been her professional home where she has served in various capacities in the areas of program management, curriculum design, 专业发展及培训. Lorena is also a trainer with Center for Racial Justice in Education supporting educators and administrators across NYC in developing a racial equity lens. Lorena graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Latin American Studies, and is currently currently pursuing a MFA degree in Design for Social Innovation at the School of Visual Arts. She is passionate about the arts as a means for social change and is always learning and seeking ways to make art and build community. Lorena 喜欢在一天中的任何时候吃早餐, fresh flowers, plants of all sizes, traveling, 制作杂志和写诗.

She graduated from DePauw University with an Education Studies Major and Women Gender Sexuality Studies Minor. Samantha is currently pursuing an MA in Liberal Studies at CUNY Graduate Center and has a BA in Comparative Ethnic Studies from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. 她住在布鲁克林，途经洛杉矶.

Holly St. Lifer is the senior editorial director overseeing the writing program. Previously, she was a health reporter and TV producer. She holds a BFA in Film and Television from New York University where she taught journalism for 10 years. In her spare time, she volunteers abroad aiding refugees. In 2017, she launched ZINE, 一本由希腊莱罗斯岛等待庇护的难民撰写并为他们服务的杂志. She is also a runner.
